  • establishments serving food and drink,
  • places of exhibition or entertainment,
  • places of public gathering,
  • sales or rental establishments,
  • service establishments,
  • stations used for specified public transportation,
  • places of public display or collection,
  • places of recreation,
  • places of education,
  • social service center establishments, and
  • places of exercise or recreation

    The Tri-County Independent Living Resource Center, Inc., is an organization of, by and for persons with disabilities who reside or work in our area. Its purpose is to assist and encourage individuals to achieve their optimal level of self-sufficiency while eliminating the architectural, communication and attitudinal barriers which prevent them from full participation in the community.

    The Job Accommodation Network, sponsored by the U.S. Department Labor,  provides  free consulting service designed to increase the employability of people with disabilities by: 1) providing individualized worksite accommodations solutions, 2) providing technical assistance regarding the ADA and other disability related legislation, and 3) educating callers about self-employment options.

  • The California Relay Service (CRS)

    The California Relay Service (CRS) (or "7-1-1") is a state program that provides specially-trained operators to relay telephone conversations back and forth between people who are deaf, hard of hearing, or speech-disabled and those they wish to communicate with by telephone.  The operators translate between voice and whatever communication device the end user may be using.  CRS is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to assist with calls free of charge.
