The City of Santa Barbara requires that every person, firm, corporation, partnership or other business organization conducting business within the City shall obtain a business license.

This site is designed to provide an understanding of the City's business license program and provide you with a business license application. The following information will assist you in complying with this requirement.

has an entrance on De La Guerra Plaza and an entrance at 735 Anacapa Street. Once in the main hallway, enter the doorway marked: Cashier - Business License. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., except for holidays.
