Sponsorship Opportunities

program SPONSOrship

Summer Fun Program

Do you remember your first summer camp experience?  Brings a smile to your face doesn’t it?  Not all children in our community get to enjoy that special part of being a kid…a chance to make new friends, develop a new skill, look up to a camp counselor, and just have FUN!  Many youth are home alone in the summer months while parents work to provide for their family. The Summer Fun program provides a “summer camp experience” to 600 of our community’s neediest youth. Be a sponsor of our Summer Fun Enrichment Program and give the gift of a “Safe Summer for all of Santa Barbara’s Kids”!                           They’re counting on you!

Fun on the Run Mobile Recreation

Rolling into neighborhoods starting in February 2010, the Fun on the Run Mobile Recreation van is filled with engaging activities, arts and crafts, and sports equipment. Fun, engaging and active recreation programs are provided at no cost to youth who are unable to participate in Parks and Recreation Programs because of a lack of transportation, concern for safety in their community, and no program site within walking distance.  Recreation staff provides positive role modeling and mentoring to the youth who would typically spend their time after school time home alone.  Keep us “on the road” in 2010!

SPECIAL EVENT SPONSORSHIP

Concerts in the Parks

This is the most popular series of events in which your company may participate- a variety of musical performances attracting over 40,000 concert goers from all over the Santa Barbara area.  Held on Thursday nights at beautiful Chase Palm Park throughout the months of July and August.

Imagine the exposure for your company!

Teen Leadership Banquet

The City of Santa Barbara Teen Leadership Banquet is an annual celebration of the significant achievements of more than 50 teens in our community.  A collaborative group of over 20 non-profit organizations along with representatives from the City of Santa Barbara Parks and Recreation Department and the Santa Barbara School District come together to recognize outstanding contributions of service and leadership that local teens provide to the community.

Be a part of recognizing our future leaders!

Children’s Fiesta Parade

A favorite event during the week-long Old Spanish Days Fiesta Celebration, the parade is organized by the Parks and Recreation Department and serves more than 2,500 children and their families each August.  In addition, more than 40,000 spectators line the parade route to view the parade.

A community tradition worth supporting!
