The Energy & Climate Division is committed to reducing the City’s greenhouse gas emissions through innovative strategies in energy, materials management, transportation, land use, and water treatment. Along with reducing its carbon footprint, the City is working to build a resilient community that can survive and thrive in the face of a changing climate. 

We are acting locally to minimize impacts of climate change, while building a resilient and safe community for all.

Together to Zero

The City has adopted an aspirational goal of reaching carbon neutrality by 2035. This initiative is called Together to Zero, and revolves around all things climate, energy, and resiliency related.
